Martin believes Americans and their government have borrowed too much money for too long and an economic collapse is imminent.
"The economy is heavy on my list, a big priority, what is happening with our economy and our government, you know what is going to happen with our grocery stores, our chain of supply."
"Living a more self-sufficient lifestyle you kind of prepare for these situations, you either stock up with food or you have food or are raising food, so not quite the concern."
And Martin isn't just preparing for a potentially darker future, he's helping others to do the same. His website, prepperbroadcasting.com, hosts podcasts on everything from canning goods to tips for surviving natural disasters.

With so much content available online on a variety of topics, Redbeacon plans include creating more channels, more content, and more stations.
Homesteading, Do It Yourself, the entire maker scene, online classes, farming and agriculture, politics, eduction, music, reviews, and the list goes on.
Online radio is only one part of Redbeacon's Media coverage, we are actively working towards creating a video streaming service geared towards the self-reliance community.
With the advancement of satelite technology and international agreements the door has opened up for Redbeacon to start on a long term project of live streaming over shortwave and satelite. We already cast our main channel via game consoles, third party streaming services, and our own broadcasting system. Soon we hope to offer so much more. Please Stand By.
